She was born on July 25, 1963 in the town of Taşkale of Karaman Province. She graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Animal Science in 1986, which she entered in 1982. She worked as an Agricultural Engineer at the General Directorate of Agricultural Reform between 1987-1993. In the same period, she completed his master’s degree at Ankara University Institute of Science between 1987-1991 and earned the title of Agricultural Engineer MSc. Between 1993-1996, she worked as an Agricultural Engineer at the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Kastamonu Province Çatalzeytin District Directorate of Agriculture. In 1996, she started working at the Poultry Husbandry Research Institute, which is affiliated to the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies of the Ministry of Agriculture. During this period, she completed her PhD at Ankara University Institute of Science between 2002-2008 and earned her PhD. She works on feeds and poultry feeding at the Poultry Research Institute and has domestic and international publications in this field. In addition to being the Head of Feeds and Poultry Nutrition Department at the Institute, she also serves as Class A Occupational Safety Specialist, Internal Control System Officer, Information Processing Officer, Web Page Supervisor and Good Agriculture Internal Controller.
She also works as the managing editor and referee of the Poultry Research Journal (Poultres). She continues to be a member of the Poultry Scientific Association (WPSA Turkish Branch) and an member and substitute member of various management and supervisory boards. In addition to being a workplace representative at TMMOB Chamber of Agricultural Engineers, she was a substitute member of the Board of Directors for 2 terms, and she is still a member of the Board of Directors for the 2nd term. In addition, she continues her non-thesis Master’s program at Ankara University, Institute of Science, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Department of Real Estate Development and Management.
Her fields of study include feed and poultry feeding studies, good agricultural practices, and OHS studies. She has published many articles, conference presentations and 1 book in these fields. She took part as an executive and researcher in many national and international projects.
She has been working as a Dr. Engineer at the Poultry Research Institute since 1996.
