The Engineering, Architecture, and Urban Planning Education Workshop organized by the Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects (TMMOB) was held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, in the 4th-floor meeting hall of the Chamber of Mechanical Engineers Headquarters.
During the workshop, which was attended by academics on behalf of the Chambers and members of the TMMOB Engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning Education, and Internship Working Group addressed the topics “What Kind of Internship Do We Want?”, “What Kind of University Education Do We Want?”, and “Accreditation Practices” in three separate sessions. The quality of educational processes, the development of professional competencies, and the pathways to be followed in training future professionals were discussed comprehensively.
ZİDEK Executive Board Chair Prof. Dr. Gökhan SÖYLEMEZOĞLU and ZİDEK Continuous Improvement Committee Member Prof. Dr. Ahmet ÇOLAK attended the workshop and they provided information about ZİDEK, accreditation of Agricultural, Forestry, and Aquacultural Engineering, ENAEE and EUR-ACE Label and answered questions.
