He graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Fisheries in 2014. That same year, he began a Master’s program in the Aquaculture Program at Ege University, Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. He graduated in 2018, earning the title of Fisheries Engineer (M.Sc.). In the same year, he commenced a Doctoral program in the Aquaculture Program at Ege University, Institute of Natural and Applied Sciences. He continues his doctoral studies at the same university. His fields of work include aquaculture and histopathology. He has national and international articles, book chapters, and conference papers related to his areas of study.

He serves on the board of directors for the Fisheries Society of Türkiye and the Society of Fisheries Engineers and Technicians of Türkiye. Additionally, he serves as the president of the Ege University Quality Community.
