
She graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Agricultural Products Technology – Dairy Technology in 1982. She completed her Master’s in 1985 at Ankara University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences, Department of Agricultural Products Technology.
Between 1983 and 1996, she worked as the Quality Control Manager within the Manufacturing and Quality Control Department at the Turkish Dairy Industry Corporation. Following the privatization of the institution, she transferred to the Republic of Türkiye Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry in 1996. At the Ministry’s Strategy Development Presidency, Department of Management and Information Systems, she worked on agricultural statistics and the preparation of product cost reports.
Within the scope of the European Union (EU) harmonization efforts at the Ministry, she completed the Basic European Union and Common Agricultural Policies Certificate Program at Ankara University Research and Application Center for European Communities in 2002. She also worked as a trainer in related in-service training programs.
Between 2008 and 2010, she worked as the Resident Twinning Advisor (RTA) Counterpart in the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry – EU Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN) Pilot Twinning Project.
In 2022, she graduated from Anadolu University Open Education Faculty, Department of Sociology. She works as an expert witness and continues her studies on agriculture and food. She is a co-author of a book on Food and Nutrition. She is retired.
