He received his undergraduate degree from Sel\u00e7uk University, Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science in 1986. He completed his master’s degree in 1992 and his doctorate in 1997 at \u00c7ukurova University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Soil Science. He was appointed as Assistant Professor in 1997, Associate Professor in 2004 and Professor in 2011 at \u00c7ukurova University Faculty of Agriculture, Department of Soil Science. He was elected as a member of the University Executive Board in 2012 from the science field by the Senate of the same University. He served as the Head of the Department of Soil Science and Plant Nutrition in 2015, and as the Dean of the \u00c7ukurova University Faculty of Agriculture between 2016-2020. He is still working as a lecturer in the same department.<\/p>\n

Prof. Dr. M. B\u00fclent Torun works in the field of Plant Nutrition, especially on the behavior and functions of microelements in soil and plants. In this context, he took part as an executive or researcher in International and National projects (T\u00dcB\u0130TAK, DPT, TAGEM and Individual Research Projects).
