Accreditation<br><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Programs applying <strong>for the first time for accreditation evaluation by Z\u0130DEK<\/strong> in the 2025-2026 evaluation period must apply to Z\u0130DEK until January 31, 2025 (and May 31, 2025 for second period applications)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">Programs without application by January 31, 2025 for the first application period and May 31, 2025 for the second application period will not be evaluated in the 2025-2026 evaluation period.<br><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Programs Eligible for Accreditation Application and their Related Institutions<br><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">An evaluation application for accreditation can be made for undergraduate education programs of faculties of agriculture, forestry and aquaculture that are recognized by the Council of Higher Education of T\u00fcrkiye.<\/span><\/span> <\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\"> A program applying for the first time should have graduates before the date of application.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\"><br>If a program applying for accreditation provides options to the students to complete the program, then each such option should meet all the evaluation criteria. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">In an institution which is making an accreditation application for one its programs, <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">if there are similar education programs* which issue diplomas not different than that is of the program for which accreditation application is being made then these programs shall be evaluated according to the following principles:<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">The applications should be made for normal and similar education programs* separately<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">The institutions should prove that each of such normal, and similar education programs meets the Z\u0130DEK criteria, separately.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">Similar education programs, which did not undergo evaluation since they had no graduates at the time of the evaluation of the corresponding normal education programs was taking place, should apply <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">concurrently <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><span class=\"normal\">with the next general evaluation of their normal education programs after they produce graduates, .<\/span><br><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\">*<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"> <u>Similar Education Programs:<\/u> <span class=\"normal\">Programs which are in the same discipline as the engineering (Agriculture, Forestry, Aquaculture) program being applied, using a similar curriculum, and issuing the same diploma (Examples: Programs in the same discipline but instructed in another language, joint programs in the same discipline but administered jointly with another institution).<\/span> <\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif;\"><strong>Important Dates in the Accreditation Application Process are presented below for both application color: var(--awb-color8); letter-spacing: 0px;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\">(2) Evaluation of programs which were given a short term accreditation after their general review in their previous evaluation<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: 11px; color: var(--awb-color8); letter-spacing: 0px;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\">(3) Evaluation of programs which were given a one year accreditation after their previous general review or interim evaluation <\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"normal\">Fees for programs to be evaluated for a general review in the 2025-2026 accreditation period will be collected from the institutions according to the following schedule: <\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span class=\"normal\">45% of the evaluation fee in April 2025 (August 2025 for the II. Application Period) after the assessment and acceptance of the initial application and preparation of documents needed,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span class=\"normal\">25% of the evaluation fee in October 2025 (February 2026 for the II.
