
Dr. Kadriye KALINBACAK, was born in Amasya and graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Agriculture in 1983. She completed her Master’s and Doctorate degrees at the same university. Her doctoral research, conducted between 1997 and 2001, focused on “Humic Acid Applications to Alleviate Iron Chlorosis in Cherry Trees”. Between 1990 and 2011, she held various positions, including Researcher, Laboratory Chief, and Head of the Training and Extension Department, at the Soil, Fertilizer and Water Resources Central Research Institute of Türkiye. She participated in numerous seminars and trainings both domestically and internationally and has published many articles. In Türkiye, she has provided training on soil, plant, and fertilizer analysis, as well as fertilizers and fertilization techniques, for researchers, laboratory staff, and producers. She has managed projects to determine the toxicity limits of heavy metals under greenhouse and field conditions. From 2008 to 2011, she served as the Research Group President for Soil Management and Plant Nutrition. In 2011, with the establishment of the Soil and Water Research Department Directorate within TAGEM (General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policies), she was assigned to TAGEM. She has been serving as the Coordinator for Soil Management and Plant Nutrition Research at TAGEM for ten years. She is also the project coordinator for the nationwide project titled “Determination of the Fertility Status and Potential Toxic Element Contents of Türkiye’s Agricultural Soils.”
Dr. Kadriye KALINBACAK has been serving as a ZAK TMMOB ZMO (Union of Chambers of Turkish Engineers and Architects, Chamber of Agricultural Engineers) Representative Member since January 1, 2026.
